Quick answers

Most questions start here.

01

Adding your cities

Tap the + button and search for a city, then add it. Add two or more to start comparing. To rename a city, change its working hours or days, give it a color, choose your primary location, or reorder the list, open the manage/settings menu at the top left.

02

Reading the timeline and overlap

Drag the playhead along the timeline (in 15-minute steps) to move the shared moment. Each city shows its local time, UTC offset, and a Working or Unavailable status. The summary at the top tells you how many cities are working, and highlights the window when everyone overlaps. Tap Now to jump back to the current time.

03

The times or offsets look off

SharedHours uses your device's time-zone data, so make sure iOS is up to date. Because it calculates each date's offset separately, the numbers around daylight-saving transitions will differ by day — that's expected. If a saved city ever shows a warning, delete it and add it again to refresh its time zone.

04

My data and privacy

Everything stays on your iPhone — there's no account, server, or tracking, and the app works fully offline. See the privacy policy for the details.
